Welcome to the
Restaurant Azalée!
Our chef Johannes Kratz proudly presents his menu.
His focus is on sustainability, seasonality and the highest quality.
The menu reflects these values.
Johannes comes from the picturesque Moselle region in Germany and has already worked for Michel as sous-chef for six years, which allowed him to learn a lot from him.
As of August 2024, Michel has handed over the kitchen management to his future son-in-law Johannes.
At Azalée you will not only find delicious food, but also warm and authentic hospitality, embodied by the ladies of the house, Carole and Yasmin von Siebenthal and their team.

Preparations for the winter season are in full swing and we look forward to presenting you our new menu soon. Until then, we ask for a little patience and look forward to pampering you with seasonal delicacies soon. Stay tuned!

Juicy grilled foods from the Rôttissoir , pizza, fondue, vegetarian offerings and more. Sammy's offers a relaxed atmosphere, warm service and rustic, regional cuisine.

Half board
Our hotel guests can add half board to their booking. This consists of a daily changing 4-course gourmet menu. The prices are as follows:
1 day CHF 110 per person/day
2 days CHF 90 per person/day
3+ days CHF 70 per person/day
Breakfast
Breakfast is included in our room prices. For reasons of hygiene and food waste, we serve part of the breakfast à la carte. Fresh bread from the neighboring bakery, homemade jam, cold cuts from the local butcher, dairy products from the Schönried dairy and eggs from the Gstaad egg farm "Kobi Zeller" are served to you with a friendly smile by our breakfast ladies.
